Official visits are always the time a coaching staff can treat recruits to the full game day experience and often garner a commitment or two if successful. On the field Oregon beat Arizona State in a big nationally televised game on Saturday and won again off the field as well, grabbing commitments from Plano (Texas) linebacker Bryce Cottrell and Vista Murietta (Calif.) athlete Jeremy Castro.

"This school is unreal. There is nowhere else I would rather play," Cottrell told Scout. "What really sold me is just the atmosphere and how they treat their athletes like a family."

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound linebacker selected the Ducks over Arkansas and Arizona. Castro, a 6-foot-3, 245-pound defensive end, was previously committed to Washington before visiting Eugene this weekend.

The pair are the 10th and 11th commitments for the Ducks' class of 2012.
