Georgia commit Quayvon Hicks needed a haircut and naturally went with one featuring his school.

Michigan is running low on scholarships with only eight remaining.

Running back Ty Isaac is starting to favor Notre Dame.

Defensive end Sheldon Rankins would have committed to North Carolina were it not for the NCAA's investigation into the school.

Good news for Ole Miss, one of the stars of its recruiting class, Tobias Singleton, has qualified.

Commitments:

Kentucky has added three offensive line commits from Jordan Watson, Darone Bailey and Zach Myers.

Great pick up for Boise State in offensive lineman Travis Averill, who is a Pac-12 caliber lineman.

Linebacker Aaron Porter committed to UCLA.

7/6 Recruiting Roundup

Yeah, Michigan is starting to get a bit low on scholarships left for 2012, but with what Hoke has done in 5 months, you have to be impressed.  The average rating for this class is something like 3.75 and after getting Kalis from OSU, it only makes the class stronger.  I would rather be set in my recruiting in August and Sept then rushing trying to fill out your class in Dec and Jan before signing day.
