We're not even to the end of February yet, and the Texas Longhorns have already picked up 11 commitments for its 2012 class. With Texas holding a junior day this weekend. It's the second junior day Texas has held, and it will also be the last, so it's not surprising to hear that a number of players have given a verbal commitment.

Today there have been three.

- Linebacker Peter Jinkens of Dallas Skyline. The 6'1, 195-pound Jinkens is the second member of Dallas Skyline to commit to Texas this month, joining wide receiver Thomas Johnson.

- Caleb Bluiett of Beaumont West Brook is the second defensive end to join Texas' 2012 class, joining Hassan Ridgeway. Bluiett has good size for his age, already checking in at 6'3 and 235 pounds.

- Defensive tackle Paul Boyette Jr completes the defensive haul so far today. Boyette checks in at 6'4 and 275 pounds, and had offers from Texas A&M and Notre Dame.

Not a bad day for the Longhorns.
