Cyrus Kouandjio still doesn’t have a decision about where he’ll sign less than a day after publicaly announcing he would attend Auburn on ESPN. Kounadjio’s father told the Tuscaloosa News that there would be no announcement prior to Friday.

"He's still confused,” Jean Claude Kounadjio told the News. “We keep talking with him, I don't think he's ready yet. He's the one that who wants more time.”

Cyrus is ranked third in the MaxPreps Top 100 for the class of 2011 and is the top offensive tackle. His brother, Arie, was a top prospect from the class of 2010 who selected and enrolled at Alabama last year.

"He's deciding between Alabama, Auburn and even Iowa," Jean Claude Kouandjio said. "It may even come back to Iowa. He's considering his options even more now. Those three (schools) have been floating in his mind"

“He looked miserable when he made his decision (on national television),” Kouandjio’s head coach Bill McGregor told MaxPreps. “It was like a cloud of gloom.”

His father said they would discuss the matter once he returns from school this afternoon.

Hey Poor Me,

Alabama signed 32 in 2008, 27 in 2009,  29 in 2010 , plus the 21 this year = 109 in four years.

109 - 85 = 24 over the limit for four years, or in other words they signed 5 recruiting classes in four years.

I wonder how Saban managed to do that?

No, Ferentz is squeaky clean--unless you talk about all those football players hospitalized.  One would have thought Ferentz would have shown some class and interupt his recruiting trip to find out what happened and talk to each of the athletes and their families.

This is where some of you should do some research before typing. Do  you get all your news from Dodd? For your information, Ferentz was back in Iowa City immediately (tuesday) after they were hospitalized on monday. He contacted the parents (some he couldnt' get ahold of and left voice mails) and he was told by doctors they were in good hands. He then resumed his recruiting trip the next morning.  Some of you need to know facts!! Ferentz runs a clean program and is being portrayed as this horrible guy. Ask any coach in the big ten what kind of character he has and they would tell you he is a class act. Did something happen in Iowa City that was horrible yes, but he wasn't the cause of it and an investigation will bring out the truth. Try not to pass judgement like Dodd does!

Okay. You may be right about Auburn, according to the article linked below. But Alabama has good graduation rates for athletes, even football players.
Show me some documentation on those Big 10 players who go pro with such wisdom in money management, and I offer similar bios of pro players from the SEC. As far as the cheating goes, I can think of some Big 10 scandals too.

It's easy to wear out the old stereotypes. Go ahead. But it only makes you look cretinous and asinine.

Hey Cowboys in 06,  maybe if he goes to Iowa he can have someone else take his drug test.  As a recall, a or a few players were hooked on cocaine throughout the season.  If you live in a glass house don't throw stones.  PS.  How did those Cowboys do in 06?  LOL

The SEC puts football first, education tenth.  The Big 10 puts education and ethics first, football a close second.  All these uneducated SEC players retire from football after 10 years and become bankrupt.  At least Big 10 players, because they get a real degree, save money and learn while in college are smart enough to save their millions and afterwards find a decent paying job because they have a legit degree.  Auburn, Alabama, and other SEC schools don't care about their players once they "graduate".  Those schools are pathetic and cheats.  Put them on USC's level as fair as ethics go..
