Curtis Grant sat behind the microphone, and did not stammer one bit as he announced that he would play his collegiate football at Ohio State .  Grant, the No. 1 ranked inside linebacker, chose the Buckeyes over Florida , North Carolina , and Virginia .  The athletic defender (who played both ways in high school) appeared to be set for Gainesville until Urban Meyer's resignation in December, when Tressel and Buckeyes brought themselves back into the picture.

Grant spoke of competing immediately for a national title, and made it clear he holds head coach Jim Tressel in high regard.  His addition to Ohio State's 2011 class is a big boost, giving the Buckeyes one of the best classes in the Big Ten.
